Gulf Shores, AL, October 12, 2025 — Eco Clean Marine hit the coast once again this weekend, rolling up sleeves and making waves for cleaner waterways. On Sunday, October 12, the organization partnered with Bronco Wild Fund for a high-energy trash pickup at the entrance to the Shrimp Festival at Gulf Shores Parkway and W. Beach Blvd.
What started as a crisp morning on the coast quickly turned into a full-on community effort. Nineteen dedicated volunteers showed up ready to take action, and in just one hour, they filled 16 five-gallon buckets with trash hiding in plain sight.
“This event was a great reminder that even small groups can make a big impact,” said Courtney Dombroski, founder & CEO of Eco Clean Marine. “There’s so much trash that goes unnoticed every day, but when you take the time to look and act, you realize just how important it is to protect these beautiful coastal spaces.”
The cleanup not only removed harmful debris from the local waterways but also brought awareness to the ongoing issue of marine pollution. Eco Clean Marine’s mission is to unite communities through hands-on action, education, and partnership, and this event was a perfect example of that in motion.
Eco Clean Marine extended heartfelt thanks to Bronco Wild Fund for partnering on the event and to every volunteer who came out to help keep Gulf Shores beautiful.
