Fort Walton Beach, FL – Eco Clean Marine, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting marine life and promoting cleaner coastlines, partnered with MarineMax on Saturday, April 5, 2025, for a trash pick-up event at the MarineMax location in Fort Walton.
In just one hour, four dedicated volunteers joined forces to collect and remove six 5-gallon buckets of trash from the area, making a direct and visible impact on the local marine environment.
“This may seem like a small group, but every bucket counts when it comes to saving marine life and keeping our waterways clean,” said Courtney Dombroski, Founder and CEO of Eco Clean Marine. “We’re thankful for our volunteers and for MarineMax’s support in making this happen.”
Events like this are part of Eco Clean Marine’s ongoing mission to reduce pollution, raise environmental awareness, and inspire community action. The collaboration with MarineMax reflects the growing support from local businesses that share the goal of preserving Florida’s natural beauty.
Eco Clean Marine continues to host clean-up events across the Gulf Coast and welcomes volunteers, sponsors, and community members to get involved.
